Elizabeth McKay is a youthful, luxury label defined by classic American sportswear with a modern sensibility. While shooting their Summer 2013 lifestyle book I was given the task of not only shooting a behind a scenes video, but also showing the brand as being the unique, passionate, and fun group of people that they are.

Jersey native's Coral Teeth make surf style rock music. For their song Riptide they told me they wanted to approach it in the style of a French New-Wave film. We got onto an abandoned beach and channeled our inner Godard.

Undivided Attention is the third music video I created for George Alley. We decided to take an abstract approach for this this video. Taking themes and compositions from baroque era paintings and juxtaposing them with modern slick elements made for an interesting mood. Shot on location in Philadelphia's Iron Factory, the shoot consisted of black lipstick, a crown of thorns, and copious amounts of flowers; all the ingredients for a goth glam video extravaganza.

Chenoa Manor is an accredited non-profit animal sanctuary and youth assistance facility located in Chester County, Pennsylvania. One step onto Chenoa's land and you are transported to an utopia. A place where animals live in harmony with nature. I wanted to produce a video that captured this sensation of euphoria. By taking a less traditional approach to a company commercial, I created an impressionistic video in hopes of sharing a breif glimpse into the peaceful world of Chenoa Manor.

King Azaz is an explosive two piece punk outfit from Philadelphia. Their songs are shorts bursts of emotional energy. I wanted to visualize internal and external battles within the music video for Numb. I based the performance segment off of artist Maya Smith's previous works. I think the result is abstract and confusing and exactly what we were aiming for.

“’New Air’ was written as a response to the current divisive climate in our country.” They add, “It’s told from the view of two people struggling to find a way forward in an untenable relationship. As we were conceptualizing the video we wanted something that embodied these concepts. The director, Adam Peditto, helped us settle on the idea that using color would be a unique and compelling way to express this narrative. Thus, throughout the video you see a juxtaposition of red, blue and purple underlying the story of the two main characters. It gives the video this film noir-type quality. Adam and his team beautifully shot these images over two winter days in Philadelphia that included dramatic temperature shifts, strong winds and (as the video depicts) a fairly significant thunder and lighting storm. The result is video that is reflective and haunting, yet hopeful, and perfectly captures what we were trying to convey.” " - Fire in the Radio for Punkanormal Activity

The D.C based indie rock band Clones of Clones came to me with the difficult task of making a conceptual performance video. My solution: make an entire video before the shoot, and then project that on to the band. Using archive footage I edited together an abstract visual trip. Blending this with the rawness of the bands performance we captured something truly surprising and unique. We also added an array of visual glitch effects for good measure.

Want to save the planet? Want to be healthier? Want to save thousands of animals? By cutting meat out of your diet for just one day a week (bonus points for more than that) you can make a huge difference. That's what me and The Humane League are trying to convince public schools across the country to do. We interviewed parents, teachers, doctors, and got their two cents, and guess what…they agree!

Post-Rock trio, Downtown Club, came out with the ethereal and haunting track Victoria and gained an instant fan base. With their dark and beautiful vocals and echoed guitars, Downtown Club was an cinematic goldmine just waiting to be struck. Haze, grain, and the absence of color was the route we took with the music video for Victoria.

How do you visually express the decades of passion and loyalty that hair aficionados Richard Nicholas have given to their clients? Well, dubstep and strobe lights of course.
